Background
Groundfloor™ smart lockers were part of a relaunch of the precinct and were introduced together with other tech-enabled solutions like CBRE Host’s white-labelled community app, EPIC. Spring Place combines work, entertainment and services by providing sought-after secure, contactless deliveries of parcels and dry cleaning, reflective of today’s hybrid workplace.
Solution implemented
In addition to allowing convenient parcel collections, the ISPT team were keen to expand their offering of concierge services and decided to include a fully integrated and contactless dry cleaning service to their busy occupants. Installing Groundfloor™ provided the opportunity to create a one-stop collection point for both parcels and services in the precinct.
Outcome delivered
Groundfloor™ helped ISPT realise sustainability and operational gains. This not only had a hyperlocal impact on decreasing pressure on loading bays but also improved the local area around the building by reducing the number of delivery vans driving around looking for a free parking spot. The reduction of vans waiting for loading bays benefitted the overall goal of reducing emissions in urban areas.
